TBOS is pleased to announce that we became a finalist in the Hertfordshire Business Awards 2016 in the “international Company of the Year” category.

The Hertfordshire Business Awards are open to any Hertfordshire-based business and the winners will be announced at the Awards dinner on Thursday 24^th November 2016.  The Hertfordshire Business Awards started in 1996 with the aim to recognise and reward the county’s top businesses in a variety of different sectors and categories. They have celebrated the height of business for 20 years now and continue to expand, with more companies entering the competition and the awards becoming a high accolade for local enterprises. Hertfordshire remains a pinnacle for business in the Home Counties and the awards are now the most prestigious honour any of our local businesses can retain.

TBOS entered the “International Company of the Year” category due to the increase in international placements being processed through the TBOS Freedom model compared to previous years.

Since 2011, TBOS Freedom has helped numerous new start and SME recruitment agencies to fund and administer their contract placements without them having to sign up to an invoice finance arrangement directly with a bank or factoring company.  During that time TBOS Freedom has offered agencies the opportunity to not only fund UK placements but also placements not only in the UK in over 170 countries and in 15 different currencies.

Currently TBOS Freedom has helped recruitment agencies make placements in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Mexico, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and USA but has also had enquiries about funding placements in Slovakia, Egypt, Chile, Spain, Abu Dhabi, Australia, St Lucia and Portugal.

In 2016, TBOS has really seen an upsurge in UK agencies requiring funding on overseas placements with our International turnover growing by 228% over 2015.  TBOS is now funding placements in over 10 countries and supporting businesses who would normally not be able to get funding due to the high concentration of international turnover.  TBOS has also seen the number of contract placements increase by 225% compared to 2015 with many in the IT, Telecoms and Aviation sectors requiring funding.
